The reasons why Hermann Tenberge purchased the Silage Safe system in 2018 are the ease of use and the quality of the silage. “When I open the silo, I notice that the quality of the feed is really excellent.” Before using Silage Safe, Herman worked with car tires and sand hoses: “That was hard work. Ensiling and de-ensiling with Silage Safe is much easier. I no longer need the sand bags, because you can tighten the cloths with the tension belts.”
He also likes ensiling with his layered pit: “Covering it again is quite quick, because the cloths are already in the right position over the silo walls. You only have to close it and tighten it.”
